So it's come up again that some big news for some game community cropped up in a gaming news magazine, and the inevitable cries of "Why didn't they just post this on the forum/to their website/in an e-mail/by carrier pigeon/etc.?" Every time this happens, I get this question, and every time I have to post the same answer. So this is more of a 'collective' answer.

( Because it's bigger than that, duh. )

According to this article a while back, and this site, there's actually more people who quit WoW each month than have actually killed a single boss inside the Black Temple (high end WoW raiding instance).

That's an interesting thought, isn't it?
